Ok, so the title of part one was "Back in the U.S.". I could change the title, but I won't. I am too lazy to mess with that right now. Anyway, I was thinking last night about what it has been like to be back in America right now. And I realized that the most interesting thing is that it is the little things that I have enjoyed and appreciated. The following is a list of "little things" that have made our first week back in America enjoyable.
1. Driving on Smooth roads!
2. Stopping at a red light and waiting even though there was no traffic coming.
3. Parking lots with spacious spots.
4. Buying a cup of coffee at McDonalds.
5. Hearing rednecks talk.
6. Driving through the rolling hills of South Carolina.
7. Jogging in South Carolina (quiet, smooth, and safe!).
8. Eating at Cracker Barrel with my parents.
9. Buying a Yankee Candle at Cracker Barrel.
10. Buying a cellphone at Wal-Mart.
11. Asking questions of the Wal-Mart employee who gave good answers to my questions about the cell-phone.
12. Watching ESPN SportsCenter.
13. Reading USA Today.
14. Enjoying the hot humid weather of South Carolina (really!).
15. Drinking water out of the faucet!
darn! I missed you! I didn't know when you were leaving exactly and wanted to say "hi" before you did, but oh well... I'm leaving for Kenya on Monday, where I'll be an MTW intern again for three weeks, followed by a month in Ghana volunteering at a hospital. Have a blessed summer!

You are making us homesick for NC! Enjoy it for us okay? Especially enjoy a chik-fil-a biscuit and some Dr. Pepper or CHEERWINE!
